In light of the immense strain the COVID-19 crisis has placed on our public servants, the County Executive has signed Executive Order 119-20 suspending certain deadlines under the MPIA until 30 days after the Governor terminates the state of emergency. The suspended deadlines are:

1. The 10 days to refer an applicant to the correct custodian, if known
2. The 30 days to respond to an MPIA request
3. The 10 days to send the "10-day letter" to an applicant
4. The 10 days to file an action in court to support a temporary denial.
