The former Lincoln High School is a landmark in Montgomery County's black education history. Opened in 1935, it is the oldest remaining high school building and the only junior high school constructed for black students in Montgomery County. The renovation includes roof replacement and building envelope repair, in order to protect further deterioration of the building.
