MCPS SSL Orientation

Organizations are invited to our monthly overview of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Student Service Learning (SSL) guidelines and Montgomery County Volunteer Center (MCVC) website tools. MCPS requires attendance after initial Volunteer Center registration and every three years thereafter for SSL recertification.

MCVC offers Office Hours exclusively for Organization Managers, the volunteer leader of staff responsible for managing volunteer opportunities and volunteer engagement for their organization. These interactive sessions provide a space to:

  • Get hands-on guidance to help you make the most of your organization's profile and volunteer opportunity postings. 
  • Ask questions about volunteer recruitment, engagement, and reporting. 
  • Share feedback and connect with other volunteer managers and community partners.
