MoComCon 2025 Art and Essay contests also return as part of our celebration of all things comics, graphic novels, and fandoms! Both contests open Monday, January 6th and close at 5pm on Monday, February 24th.

Wizards Winter Reading Challenge for Youth

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) and the Washington Wizards have teamed to get young people reading this winter with the "Wizards Winter Reading Challenge." The free challenge, designed for all ages, opens for registration and begins on December 21 and will run through March 16.
