How to Play
Register online on ReadSquared beginning December 21st.
Have you participated in MCPL’s Summer or Winter Reading Challenges before? You can use your same ReadSquared username and password; once you login, select the “2025 Winter Reading Challenge” to register.
Don’t remember your password? You can reset it. Need assistance registering? Call or visit your local library branch.
On December 21, start tracking and logging your progress online or on a paper gameboard. You can print your gameboard at home or pick one up at your local library branch.
How to Win
Everyone who signs up will receive a free book voucher to one of the Friends of the Library-- Montgomery County bookstores (while supplies last).
If you complete 8 squares:
- Ages 0-3 & 4-12 will receive a Washington Wizards swag pack OR a reading medal (while supplies last).
- Ages 13-18 will receive a MCPL teen water bottle (while supplies last).
If you complete all 16 squares, you will automatically be entered into a raffle for a prize basket, as well as a raffle for 2 tickets to the Washington Wizards vs Orlando Magic on April 3rd, 2025, at 7p.m.
