Brink Road Bridge

UPDATE: Brink Road Bridge Reopening  7/31/25

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, MCDOT Highway Services extended its proposed Brink Road Bridge re-opening date to Thursday, July 31, 2025. Unexpected repairs, extreme heat, and recent storms led to the project’s extension. “It is in our best interest to extend the road closure by two days, reopening the road for Thursday morning’s commute to ensure that we have the time needed to finish the bridge project and its asphalt repairs”, states Brian Copley, Bridge Section Chief. For alternative route questions, visit montgomerycountymd.gov/DOT-Highway/roadmaint/Bridge_Work/Bridge_Projects.html  MCDOT appreciates your patience and understanding as we continue to ensure the safety of the traveling public, as well as our maintenance crews.
