- Free crisis services available by phone or in person, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No appointment necessary. Crisis assessments and treatment referrals provided. Mobile Crisis Team will go anywhere in the County to respond to mental health emergencies.

- ACCESS to Behavioral Health: 240-777-1770
- Connects low-income, uninsured residents with major mental health and/or substance abuse problems with assessments and referrals for public services. Provides information about mental health services in Montgomery County, including:
- Child and Adolescent Assessment Services (CAAS): 240-777-4000
- Child and Adolescent Assessment Services (CAAS) located at the Crisis Center, provides confidential mental health assessments and screening for substance abuse for youth up to age 18 who live in Montgomery County.
- Pro Bono Counseling Project: 410-825-1001 (Mon. to Fri., 8am-4pm)
- Connects low-income Maryland residents who are uninsured or under-insured with mental health professionals who provide care on a volunteer basis at no cost.
- National Alliance on Mental Illness of Montgomery County (NAMI MC)
- Provides programs free of cost for individuals living with a mental health condition and for family members, friends, and caregivers of someone living with a mental illness.

- Helps navigate your mental health resource options. Open Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm EST. Is NOT an emergency service. See 24/7 Hotlines on this page for emergencies.
- CCI Health Services: 866-877-7258
- CCI offers behavioral health services for patients ages 6 and up and services for couples and families in English and Spanish. Interpreters available for other languages. Patients are seen virtually and in-person at Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Takoma Park, and Greenway health center sites. Prenatal patients are seen one day a week for prenatal patients at the Greenbelt health center.

- Provides age-appropriate and culturally sensitive counseling services to meet the needs of our diverse community. Medicaid, Medicare, other private insurance, and alternative payment options available (for those who do not have insurance).
- Mary’s Center: 844-796-2797
- Specializes in helping people who have experienced trauma and those struggling with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, and many other mental health concerns. Accepts most insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare. For people who don’t have health insurance, will help apply for public benefits or provide care at a discount.

- Mission is to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through prevention, early intervention, education, research and training.

- Provides behavioral health services to youth and their families including mental health therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), medication management, and case management.

- Specializes in treating people with both mental health and substance use problems.

- Provides affordable mental health services to clients who lack health insurance or whose health insurance doesn’t provide adequate mental health benefits.
