Programming Highlights
- Lunar New Year event was well-attended
- AARP Tax Aide thru April 15
- Teen programs ramping up
Teen services staff member update
- Teen advisory board meets monthly
Collections
- Selectors have been scheduling site visits
  - Branch managers usually funnel feedback
Some staffing changes
- Expecting candidates, will be an internal search first and then opens up to an external search
January was a busy month
- 13K checkouts
- 20K people walked through doors
- 35 programs of about 42 people in attendance per program

Regarding question posed during previous meeting about ICE presence at libraries:
- here has been staff and community anxiety and library management have noticed attendance fluctuations, so there is now a notification process within the library system
  - TMCPL staff will contact their attorney in the event ICE is seen onsite
- Staff training has been increased
- Communications will be created
2 major programs wrapping up this month:
- Library Lovers Month
- Black History celebrations
New director of marketing
MoComCon coming up in March at Black Rock Center of the Arts
- LAC Handbook feedback request reminder

LAC Recruitment
- Tabling
  - Chauna gave a great idea: tabling at farmers market
  - Can be coordinated with Kirstra
  - Will try to find bookmarks used in the past

Elizabeth shared an article she read recently about keeping libraries relevant for all people
- Chauna said when new libraries are built, they look at new models
- Liz suggested more author series like Olney has
- Book clubs can be differentiated
