No videotaping, photography, filming or recording is permitted within the library.
MCPL may photograph or record programs, events, and activities held in our public spaces such as library branches, plazas, parking lots, or off-site venues. By visiting an MCPL location or attending an MCPL or co-sponsored event, attendees acknowledge that their image, name, or likeness may be captured and used by Montgomery County Public Libraries and its affiliated partners—including the Friends of the Library, Library Advisory Committees, and advocacy groups—for promotional or informational purposes.
Images or recordings may be used publicly or privately in print, digital, or broadcast materials. All media produced will be the sole property of the County and may be used without compensation.
For individuals under 18, identifiable images (e.g., close-up or featured shots) will not be used without a signed photo release form from a parent or legal guardian. Group or wide-angle photos taken in public spaces, where individuals are not easily identifiable, may be used in accordance with library policy.
