New Hampshire Estates Elementary School Safe Routes to School Project
Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) conducted a community meeting on October 25, 2023, to present findings from our Safe Routes to School Walkability Study for the New Hampshire Estates Elementary School community. Short term safety improvements identified in the Walkability Study have been implemented, and longer-term improvements have been identified and concept designs are in development. A Community Meeting is scheduled for June 4, 2024, to present these designs and safety improvements and discuss with residents.

The Open House Community Meeting for the New Hampshire Estates Elementary School SRTS Designs will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. to present the study findings, obtain community comments and gather feedback. The open house will be in-person. Please join us in the all-purpose room at New Hampshire Estates Elementary School.
