Police

Fire and Rescue
- File of Life Program - This is an initiative of MCFRS to ensure that emergency personnel can obtain a quick and accurate medical history in an emergency. - Fire Safety for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individuals - Information including an application for Visual Smoke Detectors for low income homeowners is available at: http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/mcfrs-info/tips/seniors/visualsmokealarms.html. Maryland Public Safety Article 9-102 (b)(6) requires landlords to provide visual smoke alarms for tenants when requested and at no additional cost for the tenant.
