How to Get There
The Safety Day event is conveniently located at the Carver Educational Services Center (CESC) parking lot at 850 Hungerford Dr. (MD 355) in Rockville.
There are lots of ways to get to the location, and public transit is highly encouraged!
Shuttle services from local high schools will also be provided.
SHUTTLES
There will be FREE shuttle buses (school buses and Ride On buses) picking up families from the main entrance at the following high schools:
- John F Kennedy High School
- Seneca Valley High School
- Walter Johnson High School
These buses will run approximately every 15-20 minutes during the event.
- First run to CESC from each high school stop – 10:30 a.m.
- Last run to CESC from each high school stop – 1:30 p.m.
- Last run from CESC back to each high school stop – 3:30 p.m.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The event is located nearest to the Rockville and Shady Grove Metro stations on the red line and can be reached by the following bus routes.

PARKING
Parking is FREE! The event space includes spaces adjacent to the event with an entrance off Manakee Street with additional parking across the street at Montgomery College. Crossing guards will guide attendees who park in the College lots across Manakee Street.
